The Ostrava Střed railway station houses a museum focused on the history of railways in the Moravian-Silesian Region. You can see the current exhibition on the anniversary of the lines, railway objects, original signalling equipment, the first republican transport office, a steam locomotive from the 19th century. The attraction is a train driver’s simulator of the 742 series locomotive, model railways HO and TT and a children’s playing area with a wooden railway.
