The Ostrava City Fire Brigade Museum is housed in an Art Nouveau building from 1905 in the Přívoz district of Ostrava. Until 1929 it was the headquarters of the German volunteer fire brigade. In 1929 they were replaced by Czech volunteer firefighters from Přívoz, who worked here until 1974. The exposition of the fire brigade museum consists of seven parts, which provide not only an insight into the history of firefighting, but also examples of current technology, technical equipment, model situations, cooperation of the integrated rescue system and demonstrations of rescue work at height.
